Olga Remizova

Olga serves as the Controller for EKN leveraging her 15+ years of diverse experience in EBITDA growth of mid-tier international and domestic companies and subsidiaries of global companies in a variety of industries.  She is working with the EKN’s leadership team in developing and enhancing the company’s financial infrastructure and establishing financial controls, overseeing a portfolio of services and technology products.

Prior to joining EKN, Olga served as Controller for a mid-tier privately held energy related company in California where she helped to establish the company’s overall accounting systems, policies, and procedures. Through her efforts, the company reduced 50% of its operating costs and grew EBIDTA by 60% over the last 4 years. She successfully negotiated contracts with new and existing clients for more favorable terms.  Olga was instrumental in ensuring the smooth transition of the company during its acquisition in 2021 and migration of accounting systems and processes.

Her previous experience includes as an accountant in diverse industries both domestic and international companies, including a wholly-owned subsidiary of Boeing, wholesale trade/import-export companies, a telecommunication service provider and a residential and commercial construction company.  She is adept in enterprise-wide accounting and ERP system conversions, and data migrations.  She has successfully navigated companies through external audits with Big 4 accounting firms, applying her knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards.

Olga graduated with Honors with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Law from Saint Petersburg Institute of International Economic Relations in Russia.
